Goode enjoyed visit to KU

George Goode, the No. 44 ranked player in the class of 2007, couldn't be happier with where his recruitment stands at this time. The 6-foot-8, 190-pound small forward from Raytown (MO) South High School is being recruited by a large number of high-major institutions. In fact, Goode took an unofficial visit to the University of Kansas this past weekend.
"My mom, dad, coach and I went to Kansas on Friday for Midnight Madness," said Goode. "We had a real good time and enjoyed everything about the trip. I spent some time with Coach Bill Self and the players.

"I really like the coaching staff and players at Kansas," he added. "It was great being able to talk to the coaches and the players during my visit."
Goode, the 6-foot-8 small forward, made a name for himself this past spring and summer while playing for the KC Rocktown AAU organization. Several high-major programs have already stopped by Raytown South High School in-order to get a closer look at Goode.
While Goode is wide-open when it comes to his recruitment, the No. 44 ranked player in the class does like a number of schools in particular.
"Kansas, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Arkansas, Ball State and Iowa are some of the schools that I like," he added. "There are some other schools that I like as well.
"I definitely plan to take some official visits before I decide on a school," he added. "I haven't spent too much time thinking about what schools to visit, but I do plan to take some visits in the future."
