Gonzaga picks up Canadian ball handler

In building and maintaining the Gonzaga hoops program Mark Few and his staff have always been ahead of the game in chasing prospects from outside of the states. This year, the Zags will feature players from Germany, France and three Canadians. Next year, they'll have four Canadians after Kevin Pangos picked the Zags on Tuesday.
A flashy ball-handler and passer cut out of the mold of countryman Steve Nash, Pangos built a reputation for himself at Newmarket (Ontario) WF Herman.
The three-star prospect joins a recruiting class that already includes four-star combo guard Gary Bell, three-star power forward Ryan Spangler and three-star Idaho shooting guard Kyle Dranginis.
