Golden re-opens recruitment

Trae Golden is entering his July period as a recruitable prospect. The Rivals100 junior is re-opening his recruitment.
The 6-foot-1 guard from McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia told Rivals.com on Friday that he is no longer committed to Ohio State.

"I talked it over with my parents and thought that maybe I rushed into it. I maybe made my decision a little too early. I think maybe I didn't make it for the right reasons," Golden said. "I don't want to wonder. You go to school for four years and I want to make sure it is the right school for me."
Golden committed to the Big Ten school on October 21, 2007. He said Ohio State is still a school he will consider.
"Coach Matta told me that they are going to still recruit me," Golden said. "We'll see how that goes. They are still a top school for me. I just want to make sure that they are the right for me."
Because his recruitment just re-opened, Golden said he has to think about any other programs just yet.
"I'm wide open to any schools really," Golden said.
