Gliding Guard Impresses

CHAPEL HILL, NORTH CAROLINA -- Ronnie Brewer, a 6-5, 180-pound guard from Fayetteville High School in Arkansas, was very impressive at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. Brewer has the ability to drop a jumper in or head to the basket for inside baskets.
Brewer glides to the basket when he takes his dribble inside. He has the strength to overpower defenders and get inside.

Brewer averaged 26 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals. Arkansas, Tulsa, Kansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Connecticut, and Texas are just a few schools Brewer said he is interested in. "I am open," Brewer said. "I probably won't make a decision until the Fall. I don't mind going away from home to play college ball."
Brewer played this past weekend for the Panthers Select team out of Jackson, Mississippi. "The competition is really good here," Brewer said. "It's a great tournament to see how you do against the top players. I enjoyed it."
