Glen Davis Headed To LSU

When it came time for Glen "Big Baby" Davis to make a decision about his future, there were no surprises. The 6-foot-8, 345-pound power forward from University Lab High School in Baton Rouge, LA has given a commitment to the LSU Tigers. He made the announcement during a press conference inside his high school gymnasium on Thursday afternoon.
Davis had indicated that many people would be surprised with his decision, but that simply wasn’t the case.

Rivals.com ranks Davis No. 4 on the Rivals150 list and the third best power forward in the class of 2004, so it should come as no surprise that he was one of the more heavily recruited players in the class.
When we last spoke with Davis, he indicated that a lot of people would be surprised with his decision, but when all was said and done, nobody is a bit surprised with his selection. It was obvious that LSU would be the school of choice, as Davis had decided not to take any official visits, which took a great deal of suspense out of his recruitment.
