Yesterday, the McDonald's All-America Teams were announced by Sports America, Inc. The girl's game, the first ever, will be held at 5:30 p.m. (EDT) on Thursday, April 4, 2002, at New York's Madison Square Garden.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN Monday, April 8th at 2 p.m. (EDT).

While this is the inaugural girls game, this year's contest is the silver anniversary for the boys competition.
