Class of 2011 three-star power forward Anthony Gill is off the board after committing to play in the SEC.
South Carolina has picked up its first 2011 commitment in Gill, 6-foot-8, 211-pounds from Charlotte (N.C.) Christian School. Gill visited the school for the second time this month and figured out that he had found his fit.
"I've pretty much know that South Carolina was where I was going to go to school, so I thought I should go ahead and commit instead of dragging it out," said Gill. "I like the coaches. They've been straight with me the whole time, and I think they can get me better. I've seen what Coach Horn has done in one year. I also like the school in general."

Gill also considered Virginia (offer) and Wake Forest.
