Giles -- who had already missed much of the fall with a hand injury -- sustained the injury on Tuesday night during his first game of the season.
WHAT'S NEXT?: First and foremost Giles will most likely need surgery and hopefully he will not be rushed into a return and will take as much time as necessary to fully heal. He was in a similar position before when the tore the ACL and meniscus in his left knee during the summer of 2013 while playing for USA Basketball.
Down to Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and Wake Forest, Giles' most recent visit was to Duke and the Blue Devils have been considered the favorite for some time now.
RIVALS REACTION: Since bursting onto the scene as a freshman at High Point (N.C.) Wesleyan Christian, Giles has proven himself not only an outstanding basketball prospect but he has been a pleasure to deal with. Giles has personality that is just as impressive as his skill and he has proven before that he can come back from major injury.
A do-it-all power forward, Giles has size, length and athleticism to go along with his diverse array of skills.
