Giles Interested In Three Schools
Now that Miami-FL has granted C.J. Giles a release from his letter of intent, the 6-foot-10, 240-pound center from Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Wash., is planning to take some official visits within the next few weeks. Chester Giles, the father of C.J. Giles, has indicated that three teams have emerged as the teams to beat.

“We finally received the official release several days ago,” Chester Giles said. “We felt all along that a release would be granted, but we didn’t think it would take as long as it did. We are happy with the decision and look forward to moving forward.”
It is not yet known how many visits Giles will actually take, but the possibility exists that the No. 62 ranked player on the Rivals150 list could take as many as three official visits.
“Kansas, Washington and Cincinnati are the schools we are looking at right now,” Mr. Giles said. “We have already sent our release papers to Kansas, so they’re our No. 1 option. A visit to Washington will probably take place as well.
“We just plan to take one-step at a time and see what happens,” he added. “C.J. has plenty of options, so we plan to take some visits and see which situation is best.”
