Georgia remained hot within the 2019 ranks notching the commitment of Rivals150 four-star wing Elias King. A native of Louisville, Kentucky that moved to the Peach State at a younger age, King is the second top-50 pledge to the SEC program within the past week, the first being five-star guard Ashton Hagans, Georgia’s first top-10 commitment since Lou Williams.

King, a 6-foot-6 wing with great length and shot making abilities from 15-feet and out, is a tremendous addition for the Bulldogs. A heavily coveted prospect for a number of SEC and ACC programs, the Shiloh High standout brings excellent upside, versatility and offensive firepower to Athens. "I just liked the way that they play and how they're going to play me," he said. "They also have my major in business."

Known for his mid-range scoring skills, King does to have to get stronger as he is more of a late bloomer when it comes to packing on the proper muscle weight. However, he is not soft where he does not shy away from contact, nor does he lack for a feel for the game as he can be used as a playmaker in spurts.

Alongside Hagans, King should be able to mask some of the five-star guard’s deficiencies whenever it comes to making shots on a consistent basis. Thanks to his length and quickness, King and Hagans have the chance to develop into one of the top defensive perimeter groups nationally. "I think we will take over the country and build a special class," he said.

Georgia football has made great strides within recent weeks sitting with the top 2018 class nationally following the early signing period; it looks as if the good vibes have reverberated throughout the athletic department as Mark Fox’s bunch sits with the best group nationally in the 2019 class.
