Georgia forward headed north

The undecided seniors are quietly making decisions as the basketball season winds down. Wheeler (Ga.) High School forward Trey Lang is the latest prospect to pick a school as the 6-foot-8 forward is headed north.
Lang told Rivals.com on Saturday night that he will sign with the University of Massachusetts in April. He called UMass head coach Travis Ford over the weekend and pledged his services to the Minutemen.

"I thought I built the best relationship with their coaches of all of the schools that were recruiting me," Lang said. "I like their system, it seems to fit me the best. They did a good job of coming down here the most, too."
Lang also considered offers from Central Florida and Oregon. He visited all three of his finalists. Lang, the son of former NBA player Andrew Lang, said he liked what he saw of the Amherst campus when he visited prior to the season.
"I loved it up there. They showed me around and we saw everything. I liked the student life up there and everything was really impressive," Lang said.
The athletic forward said he will have some flexibility when he makes it to college.
"He said he would like to use me as an outside in guy and I'm excited about that. I've never had the opportunity to do that so I'm looking forward to it," Lang said.
