Georgia big man has offers

Coming out of the summer, there were plenty of coaches who found themselves intrigued with Justin Tuoyo. Now, he's earned offers thanks to a strong junior season.
A hard-working, 6-foot-8 big man at Lovejoy (Ga.) High just outside of Atlanta, Tuoyo doesn't feel like's changed anything.

"Every day I'm just working really hard," said Tuoyo of his approach. "It comes from my whole team trying so hard to get better."
To date, Virginia Tech, VCU, Alabama, Georgia and Virginia have offered the nation's 84th-ranked player in the class of 2012.
A shot-blocker with quickness, athleticism and the ability to run the floor, Tuoyo doesn't deny that he's more advanced on the defensive end of the floor.
"My strength is defense and rebounding," the four-star prospect said. "I think I'm a shot blocker. Coaches like my defensive intensity and how I never take a play off."
The junior has been working hard on bulking up and feels it will be the key to opening up his offensive game.
"I need to get stronger. I've been in the weight room since the summer," Tuoyo said. "Hopefully when I get stronger my offensive game will pick up."
While he's already got offers on the table, Tuoyo is in no hurry. He plans to hit the circuit with the Southern Kings this summer and will take a closer look at his recruitment as his senior year rolls around.
"I'm taking my time with it," said Tuoyo. "My AAU coach and my family will help me with looking at the chemistry, the coaching staff and the environment of the school."
