George Washington Adds Another

New head coach Karl Hobbs and his hard working staff continue to do an excellent job in recruiting their first class at George Washington.
Hobbs, who spent many years in helping build a great Connecticut program under head coach Jim Calhoun, landed Alexander Kireev, a 7-footer from Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Alexander is a skilled, athletic center. He played for the Shreveport Bossier Select AAU team in Louisiana. This is one of the best AAU programs in the country.
This is Hobbs' fourth announced recruit for the 2002-03 season. Also scheduled to head to the Washington, DC, campus are forwards Omar Williams and Nana "Pops" Mensah-Bonsu and shooting guard Mike Hall. Wednesday is the first day of the early signing period.
