George Mason lands another one

George Mason is at it again. Kevin Foster, a 6-foot-7 forward from Kathleen High School in Lakeland, Fla., is headed to the CAA school.
Drew Taylor, Foster's high school coach, said all of the pieces fit for the three-star forward.

"He's locked and loaded," Taylor said. "It was a hard decision for him because he had two other good schools to choose from in Tulane and Marshall but I think Kevin liked the small atmosphere of classes and what coach (Jim) Larranaga had to offer. He's not a fly by night kind of coach. He doesn't take it easy on his players. I think Kevin was comfortable with that."
Foster closed the summer out strong with the Team STAT AAU program and proved himself as a confident and effective combo forward. Taylor joins speedy point guard Andre Cornelius, who committed to George Mason over the weekend, in the 2008 recruiting class.
"I think Kevin is going to give them someone that can play two positions, both on the blocks and out on the wing, where I think he'll probably finish his college career at," Taylor said. "He said he is comfortable with his decision and that was the right place for him."
