Gbinije impressive in night session

MORE: NBPA Top 100 - Thursday night session | Turner strong in first session
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.- Duke commitment Michael Gbinije was one of the standouts in the second session of the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp.

Michael Gbinije SG/SF- Gbinije displayed an attribute shared by all great wing scorers. He produced points from all three levels. A terrific finisher at the rim in transition, Gbinije also knocked down shots from the midrange and from behind the arc, finishing with 16 points. He measured 6-foot-7 at the camp, and with his mature and smooth game he looks destined to be an impact player at Duke.
Chane Behanan PF- Along with Jarnell Stokes, Behanan has one of the most powerful builds in the camp. He also has a nice skill package to go along with his physical strength. His bread and butter move Thursday night was a quick spin move to the baseline from the mid-post area. Despite forcing the issue for negative results at times, Behanan also can attack facing the basket. Presently he is the camp's second leading scorer behind P.J. Hairston and has the camp's single game high with 19 points.
B.J. Young PG,SG- This wiry combo guard is simply electric with the basketball. With supreme confidence, he gets almost anywhere he wants to get on the court. Proving himself to be one of the top guards in his class, Young was every bit as good, if not better, than Myck Kabongo in their head to head match up Thursday night. With 14 points a piece in the first two games of the camp, Young is the No. 4 scorer in the camp.
Tyrone Johnson PG- Another impressive guard has been Johnson. His game is based on his physicality, but he also has a nice dose of foot speed. He can defend quick guards, and with subtle changes of speed he finds the lane on offense with regularity.
Quddus Bello SG/SF- There might not be a better athlete in the class of 2010. Scoring in double figures in both his games, Bello excels at assaulting the rim. He also has the potential to be a tremendous defender and positional rebounder. As long as he is attacking the basket with a purpose, his handle is plenty good enough to go along with his explosiveness. His downside is when he handles carelessly and is forced to shoot from the outside.
EXTRA NOTES
Zach Price is developing physically, measuring in at 6-foot-10, 220-pounds. And if the lefty can turn to his right shoulder, it is typically a bucket.
Love the competitiveness and defensive abilities of Tracy Abrams. Although he is known for his scoring, Chris Jones belongs in the same category.
He is not a big production guy at this level yet, but 2012 prospect Kaleb Tarczewski has a bright future ahead of him. At 7-foot, 220-pounds, Tarczewski has all the qualities you look for in a developing big man.
Once again, 2012 point guard Tyler Lewis was a creative force on the offensive end. Not only is he perhaps the best passer in his class, Lewis is also proving he can score on the move in the midrange.
