Gasama Impresses With Upside
Papa Gasama, a 6-7, 215 pound combo forward from Solebury Prep in New Hope, Penn., impressed RivalsHoops.com with his upside this year.
Gasama is a very mobile athlete who has nice touch on his shot. While he could become a little more assertive offensively, he has many tools to play at a fairly significant level of Division I college basketball.

Solebury Prep Head Coach Cleve Christie told Rivalshoops.com that Gasama has been offered thus far by Florida International and Rider. Others looking at him include Richmond, UNC-Greensboro, Boston University, Ohio University, Colorado and St. Joe's.
Christie said that many schools haven't offered yet due to the fact that Gasama hasn't yet qualified academically. He is still working on achieving a qualifying test score, and the NCAA Clearinghouse is in the process of going over Gasama's transcripts from overseas.
A native of Dakar, Senegal, Gasama came to the United States last summer, where he played at one of the Eastern Invitational events sponsored by the Hoop Group.
