Gardner Opts For Mizzou
Thomas Gardner, the talented swingman from the state of Oregon, committed to Missouri today, according to Gardner's family. "Thomas and I discussed it over the past couple of days," his mom said. "He said he was going to do it either yesterday or today."
Gardner only told RivalsHoops.com two days ago he was close to making a commitment to Missouri or perhaps taking another visit. He decided to make his verbal commitment to Mizzou.

His visit to Kansas, scheduled for September 27th, was cancelled. Connecticut was also considered but playing time at the Big East school hurt Jim Calhoun's team.
Gardner visited Missouri from Sept. 6-8. He officially visited UConn back in June.
