Gaither To Announce Tomorrow
Jared Gaither, a 6-foot-9, 290-pound center/power forward from Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Mary., will announce tomorrow for South Carolina, according to his head coach Glenn Farello.
Gaither had previously stated in reports on this site he was leaning to the South Carolina basketball program. On Monday, he will make it official, according to Farello. He visited South Carolina officially from September 5th-7th.

"He ended going down there and he felt real good about the trip," said Farello. "He fell in love with the school. And he saw no reason not to commit. Initially, he was going to sign late. But then he went on the trip and felt it was the best school for him."
Gaither, who attended but did not play basketball at the Charlie Weber tournament in Maryland this past weekend, is a wide body who cleans up loose balls and defends. Jared also plays football too.
