Fuller Hoping For Big Summer

After being injured for much of the season last year, Vince Fuller is finally playing at 100 percent. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound shooting guard from Verbum Dei High School in Los Angeles, CA., has been a steady performer for Verbum Dei High School Head Coach DeAnthony Langston. “Vince is really good and he has been a constant producer for us all year long,” Verbum Dei High School Head Coach DeAnthony Langston said. “His stats are a little down because he was injured all last year, so he is just becoming comfortable with his role. Vince is a great athlete and is an excellent jumper. He really is the total package.”

Fuller is averaging right around 10-points and five rebounds a game for Verbum Dei. Those are not exactly astonishing numbers, but he does so many things to help his team win that do not always show up in the statistics.
“Oh, Vince is definitely a special player,” Coach Langston said. “He is being recruited by Arizona State, Oregon, Penn State, Stanford, Portland and CS Northridge. I really believe more high major schools will become interested in Vince once they see him play this summer. He will be running with an AAU team called Real Run. I certainly cannot coach the team, but I oversee the day-to-day operations, so I will definitely follow Vince and his improvements this summer.”
