Friars lose 2012 shooting guard commitment

The career path of Ricardo Ledo has been one filled with plenty of twists and turns. Already this winter he's moved on to his fourth school, Fitchburg (Mass.) Notre Dame, and made a verbal commitment to Keno Davis at Providence. As of Monday, he's backed out of that commitment.
Monday afternoon, Ledo confirmed rumors that had been circulating by posting on his Twitter account that he has decided to open things back up.

"So world I have some news," tweeted Ledo."I'm no longer a providence friar I decided to open my recruitment back up and view my other options."
A talented 6-foot-5 shooting guard -- and Providence native -- Ledo currently ranks as the number seven prospect overall in the Rivals150 for the class of 2012.
Prior to committing to his hometown school, Ledo has been associated most with Louisville, Kentucky and Connecticut. He'll play this summer with Todd Quarles' Expressions group and will continue to consider the Friars.
Ledo was not immediately available to discuss his decision to back out of his commitment.
