Fresno State adds to 2009 class
After landing four-star prospect
Greg Smith, the Fresno State Bulldogs now have a three-star commitment in
Jerry Brown of San Francisco Sacred Heart Cathedral High School.
Having been recruited by an number of schools across the west, Brown, a still growing 6-foot-6, 195-pound small forward, is headed to Fresno State. He chose the Bulldogs over offers from Seton Hall and Cal-Poly and strong interest from California.
"Jerry built a really strong relation ship with Assistant Coach Senque Carey," said Brown's father Jerry Brown, Sr. "He has been with Jerry through all his ups and downs. Jerry also likes the location of the school since it is close to home. He's impressed with Coach Cleveland, and the up and down style of play fits Jerry. Also the facilities are excellent, and his major which is Communications is a big program at Fresno State."
Brown ran with the EBO travel team program.
