Freeman Will Go South
Ricardo "Hawk" Freeman, a 6-2 point guard from Seward County C.C. in Liberal, Kan., committed to South Florida, acccording to assistant coach Swede Trenkle.
Freeman had taken an official visit to South Florida from Sept. 6-8, as reported by RivalsHoops.com last week.

Others in the mix included Nebraska, Iowa State, Oklahoma and Pittsburgh.
Previously, Trenkle said that Freeman was thinking about taking a to Oklahoma in either late September or early October. But this trip will now not take place due to the commitment.
Freeman, a native of Hartford, Conn., should be one of the top floor generals in the junior college Class of 2003. He has good court savvy and a knack for finding the open man.
