Frederick Has Great Georgia Tech Visit

Zam Frederick, an offensive-minded shooting guard from Calhoun County (St. Matthews) in South Carolina, finished up an official visit to Georgia Tech this past weekend, according to his father.
"He had a great visit to Georgia Tech," Mr. Frederick stated. "He liked meeting the coaches and the players. He saw a football game (Georgia Tech defeated Auburn) and had a chance to see the campus."

Mr. Frederick could not say whether his son would take another official visits. "He is supposed to visit Stanford in a couple of weekends (September 19th)," he said. "He is also supposed to take a trip to Kentucky. I don't know if he will. It's up to him."
Frederick played this past summer with the South Carolina Ravens. Federick, 6-foot and 215-pounds, is a strong guard with very good range on his jumper. He has the offensive skills to score points in bunches.
"It's up to him where he wants to go," Mr. Frederick said. "There are a lot of great schools that are recruiting Zam. I don't know where he is going to go. But he did have a great time at Georgia Tech."
