Frederick Cancels Visit

Two plus two equal four. Georgia Tech has dropped out for two-guard Jason Rich. And now, a source close to Zam Frederick, a well-built 6-foot, 215-pound shooting guard from Calhoun County (St. Matthews, South Carolina) High School, say that the talented scorer has cancelled his official visit to Stanford this weekend. One can only believe that Frederick is about to give a verbal commitment to the Georgia Tech basketball program.
This past week, Frederick's dad, Zam, Sr., stated he thought his son was going to take a visit to Stanford this upcoming weekend. But he also said in the same statement that there was always a possibility that Frederick could cut short his trips.

There is no official work from Frederick on whether he will take his official visit to Kentucky. Zam was supposed to take an official trip to Lexington the weekend of September 26th.
Frederick had already taken an official visit to Georgia Tech. "He had a great visit there," said Mr. Frederick said previously. "He liked the school. He enjoyed meeting the coaches and the players. He was very impressed with the visit."
Zam is listed as the 126th best player in the country in the Rivals150 for the class of 2004. Frederick has the ability to drop in jumpers in bunches and can carry a team on his back offensively with his skills. He appears able to play effectively either in the open court or in a setup style of offense.
