Franklin will transfer to Baylor

The recruitment to land the transfer of California University freshman guard Gary Franklin didn't take that long.
Shortly after announcing that he would be leaving Mike Montgomery's program, the 6-foot-1 guard has found a new home. According to sources close to the situation, Franklin will enroll at Baylor and join Scott Drew's program.

A four-star prospect who ranked #78 overall in the class of 2010, Franklin produced as a freshman at Cal. He started many of his 13 games for the Golden Bears while putting up 8.2 points (on just 29.7% shooting) and dishing out two assists in 25.7 minutes a game.
Franklin will be eligible after the completion of next year's fall semester and will be a sophomore with 2.5 years of remaining eligibility.
