Frank Richards Takes Official Visit

Frank Richards, a 6-2, 180 pound point guard from Olney Central C.C. in Olney, Ill., took an official visit to Kansas State this past weekend.
Richards was in Manhattan from Sept. 21-23, but according to Olney Head Coach Jim Glash, he has yet to pull the trigger on a decision.

"Obviously, it's a Big 12 school, but he also has ACC and Southeastern Conference schools looking at him," Glash said. "I still think it's early in the process, maybe I am crazy but I still think it is."
Wisconsin was at Olney last week to take a look at Richards, and N.C. State has made a recent call to Glash and said it is also interested in recruiting his lead guard.
In addition to those schools, Auburn, Butler and Illinois-Chicago are also in the mix with Richards.
A native of Rockford, Ill., Richards had signed with Ohio University out of high school two years ago. With many of the top high school guards already committed to colleges, he has become a hot recruiting target of a number of high D-I schools in the past few weeks.
We'll keep you posted on his recruitment in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
