One thing Fowlkes has always been able to do is finish around the tin, thanks in large part to his outstanding springs.
Through 14 games this season, all but one starts, Fowlkes is averaging 9.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game. He's shooting 53.5 percent from the field, 42.9% from behind the arc and 71.4% from the charity stripe. And he has a 1.77 assist/turnover ratio. Fowlkes was second on the team with 82 assists, a 2.7 average, as a freshman.
Fowlkes prepped at Bay View High School where he averaged 21.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.5 steals per game while shooting 52% from the floor as a senior.
According to Colby Head Coach Brian Ostermann, Fowlkes is being courted this winter by Denver, North Texas, Evansville and Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
