Four-star power forward setting visits

One of the biggest movers of the spring and summer was power forward Jaylen Johnson. Now the four-star forward is starting to line up visits.
Currently ranked No. 64 in the class of 2014, the 6-foot-8, 210-pounder from Ypsilanti (Mich.) High had himself a very productive run on the grassroots circuit.

After showing plenty of promise as a younger player because of his energy, length and athleticism, Johnson saw it all come together. Playing with Christian Vaughn-Dawkins' Dorian's Pride program, Johnson proved to be much more than just an athlete.
Johnson can shoot mid-range jumpers, he's very active on the glass, and he's among the best passing big men in the country.
After successful summer, Johnson is now locking in official visit dates.
Per Vaughn-Dawkins, Johnson has scheduled visits to Iowa State (Sept. 13), Louisville (Sept. 20) and Oregon (Sept. 27). Florida State is also likely to get a visit but has been on a tour of a Greece so a date hasn't been finalized although the weekend of Oct. 4 looks probable for a visit to Tallahassee.
While he hasn't locked in visits for them yet, local programs Michigan and Michigan State remain in the running for Johnson, who is expected to make a decision in time for the early period.
