Four-star picks Cowboys

Four-star forward Cameron McGriff has made his pick.
A little over a week after visiting Oklahoma State officially, the 6-foot-7 combo forward from South Grand Prairie (Texas) High announced via his Twitter account that he has committed to Travis Ford and the Cowboys.

Ranked No. 114 overall in the class of 2016, McGriff is an athletic and tough forward who should be able to play a variety of roles in Stillwater.
If the Cowboys want to go small, McGriff has enough size and experience in the post to play as a somewhat undersized but athletic four-man. If they want to go big, he can move out to the small forward position and play as a wing. His strengths, such as running the floor and using his athleticism to impact the game around the rim as a rebounder and defender, don't change with position.
McGriff has been working on his jump shot and he'll need to continue to get better in that area, but he has become pretty reliable from 15-17 feet. The next step is to improve his ball-handling.
McGriff is Oklahoma State's second commitment from the class of 2016 and second in just two days. He joins three-star shooting guard Thomas Dziagwa, who committed on Sunday night.
