Four-star forward Khavon Moore, one of the top available prospects from the 2018 class, has scheduled three official visits for the coming weeks. The No. 44-ranked prospect in the 2018 Rivals150, Moore was originally expected to announce his commitment on Feb. 3 but those plans were scuttled after a season-ending injury interrupted his travel plans.
Friday, Moore will take an official visit to Mercer, a source tells Rivals.com. Bob Hoffman’s program has remained afloat in Moore's recruitment thanks to the continued priority that they have made him.
The following weekend, Moore will head to Texas Tech. The Red Raiders sit atop the Big 12 standings and will be facing the Kansas Jayhawks while Moore is in town, a battle that could decide who wins the league.
His third and final planned official visit will take Moore to Oklahoma on the weekend of March 1. The Sooners remain in a good spot for the top-50 senior and their Big 12 closer against Iowa State will likely be the final home contest for freshman sensation Trae Young.
Moore has already taken an official visit to Florida, but the Gators are no longer in contention. Ohio State, Tennessee and Louisville remain in the hunt for his last allotted official visit.
