Four-star Jones opens recruitment

One of the better perimeter scorers in the country is back on the board. Sources have told Rivals.com that Eshaunte Jones has backed out of his commitment to Indiana and will re-explore his options this summer.
The four-star guard was unavailable for comment on Thursday morning but his Blessed IJN AAU coach Eric Vaughn confirmed the news.

"He said it has nothing to do with coach (Kelvin) Sampson or (assistant coach) Ray McCallum. Bear just wants to see some more options," Vaughn said. "He's still looking at Indiana."
Vaughn said Jones has already talked to the staff and informed the Hoosiers about his decision to look around before signing in the fall.
Jones, a 6-foot-4 guard from Fort Wayne, Ind., will need a prep year before making his way to college. He also considered Cincinnati, Missouri and UCLA before picking the Hoosiers in November 2006. Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia and the Patterson School are looking like the two potential prep schools Jones attends in the fall.
