The recruitment of JT Thor has not been short on storylines throughout the past year. One of the top remaining prospects found within the Rivals150, Thor has settled on a commitment date and time, a source has told Rivals.com.

A four-star prospect that reclassified into the 2020 class earlier in the fall, Thor will make his college decision on Sunday, April 12, around 12pm EST. He will select between Auburn, Oklahoma State and UCLA.

Thor sits as the 56th best prospect in the 2020 class, and as the 10th best power forward in America. The 6-foot-10 senior is the definition of a new age forward that can play facing the basket and shoot to 18-feet, possesses underrated passing skills, and defend near and away from the rim in the half-court setting.

He took an official visit to OSU in September and was expected to commit and sign during the early signing period in November. He held off from making such a move and saw a number of newer suitors enter his recruitment during the winter. He has not taken an official visit to either Auburn or UCLA, though he did squeak in an unofficial visit to Auburn the first weekend in March.

Thor could be the final piece to Oklahoma State or UCLA’s roster constructing needs for next season, while Auburn remains in heavy pursuit of Jalen Green and Greg Brown, both of whom are expected to commit before the end of the month.
