WASHINGTON, D.C. – The spotlight has been shining on Lynn Greer and he has become a top target for some of the top programs across America. Settling into his junior season for the famed Roman Catholic program, Greer discussed his recruitment and the four schools that have impressed him early on.

“I talk to some coaches here and there but I just try to take it day by day,” Greer said regarding his ongoing recruitment. “I just try to hear what they have to say and find out what is the best fit for me.”

There is one program that may have caught Greer’s eye.

“I was supposed to go to Louisville last month, but I got the flu and I couldn’t go. But I will probably reschedule that in January,” he stated. “They just said that they need a point guard and that they think that I could be the best fit for them.”

Count Indiana, Miami and Wake Forest as three others that have begun to separate themselves with the four-star junior. However, Temple, the local program and the place where his father etched his name into the school’s record books, remains in the picture.

“They recruit me. They just need a point guard, like how I play and like my game,” he said. “I think Coach (Aaron) McKie is a great coach and a great guy. I am very close with him and he is friends with my father.”

Greer is nowhere near a college decision, but he did say that he would like to begin taking his official visits some time after the New Year. In the meantime, expect Greer to solidify his standing as one of the top guard prospects in his class along the East Coast and become a target for some of the top programs nationally.
