Four Offers for Goodridge

6-foot-9, 215-pound center prospect Vernon Goodridge had strong performance at the Pangos Camp this past weekend. Right now the No. 150 ranked player in the class of 2005 out of Lutheran Christian High Academy in Philadelphia, Pa., boasts four high major offers.
"I’m interested in St. John’s, Syracuse, Seton Hall, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and Uconn,” said Goodridge. “I've received offers from St. John’s, Georgetown Georgia Tech, and UConn."

Having only taken one unofficial visit so far, the recruiting process is still in the very early stages for the rising big man.
"I have taken an unofficial visit to Georgetown and enjoyed it a lot,” he said. “I liked the campus it was nice, but right now I’m wide open. I haven't taken any official visits as of yet. I plan on taking them in August."
At this point in his career, Goodridge’s defense is ahead of his offense. He does, however, have the potential to be a good offensive player. Already possessing a jump hook and 15 foot range, Goodridge just needs further development before his offense catches up with his defense.
"I’m looking for a school that has a good coach and can help me develop my game,” he said. “I’m also looking for early playing time. I just want to go to a place that I feel comfortable at."
Goodridge has a 3.1 GPA and 850 SAT score and will attend the adidas Camp in July.
