Four in the hunt for top unsigned center

The top unsigned senior center in the country Anthony McClain is back in action and putting up solid numbers for National Christian Academy in Fort Washington, Md. Four schools are lining up for a springtime dash to land the near 7-footer.
Connecticut, Florida, Tennessee and Cincinnati are the four schools in the hunt according to McClain's coach Trevor Brown. Connecticut, once thought to be the leader, is no longer in the top position to land McClain.

"We are just waiting till the season is over," said Brown. "Then we'll take some visits and see which program is the best fit for Anthony. When need to see what players are coming back and what program will provide the best opportunity for playing time. You know, UConn is loaded with young talent and right now it doesn't look like any of them are going anywhere."
McClain, who is working on his GPA, is scheduled to take one of the college prep tests in March. Since he has returned to the court from a foot injury, he is averaging 13 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks.
"His foot is good," said Brown. "He is probably 90 percent right now. He is still not doing as much running as the other guys in practice, and he's not playing a full game yet. He probably won't be 100 percent until the summer."
Anthony McClain scouting report
A formidable presence inside with his length, McClain is difficult to score over. He is also tough on the defensive glass. Also works hard on offense, but is a work in progress on that end of the court. He has yet to develop a go to move as his defense is quite a ways ahead of his offense.
