Four At Top For Bama Guard
Kenard Johnson, a 6-4 combo guard from Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery, Alabama, told us he is likely to transfer to G.W. Carver High School in Birmingham, Alabama.
Johnson also told us that he is receiving interest from Miami of Florida, Cincinnati, Purdue, and Georgetown. "I don't have a leader right now," Johnson told us. "I am not sure if I am going to take some visits."
Johnson previously told us in an interview that he was also interested in Michigan and Virginia.
Johnson averaged 21 points, seven rebounds and five assists in an injury-shortened junior season. He will be playing with the Alabama Lasers (had previously played with the Alabama Ice) and is scheduled to attend the adidas ABCD camp.
