One of the recent powers in the state of Georgia has been South Atlanta High School. Despite the graduation of Derrick Favors, South Atlana is once again having a big season this year. A huge reason for that is the play of four-star prospect Dominique McKoy.

At 6-foot-7 and 205-pounds, McKoy is a small forward who looks to have the frame that college coaches love. McKoy is still working to improve all aspects of his game, but so far this season things are going well for him.
"I think I have been playing well," said McKoy. "We are 25-2, and I just think I have doing good on the floor. I've been shooting the ball very well. Also I am stronger now so I am playing both outside and inside."
Already McKoy has a trio of offers from Auburn, Georgia, and Georgia State. While those three have offered, it is a group of four schools that are after him the hardest.
"Auburn, UGA, Alabama, and Florida State are the four I am hearing from the most," said McKoy.
While those four schools are separating themselves in terms of the attention that they are showing McKoy, he is hesitant to say that he has a leader. McKoy claims that he is still open to any school, and wants to look around and see what everyone has to offer.
One factor that could play a large role in McKoy's recruitment is his friend and teammate, Nick Jacobs. Jacobs is a fellow four-star prospect and the No. 94 ranked player in the Rivals150. According to McKoy, the two would like to continue to be teammates in college.
"Me and him talk about going to college together all the time," said McKoy of him and Jacobs going to the same school. "I think we are going to go to the same place."
Even though McKoy has an idea of what he is looking for in his recruitment, he says that things are far from settled. In fact, don't expect a decision from him for several months.
"I want to decide after the summer, once I have had a chance to visit some schools," McKoy explained.
Currently McKoy is the No. 62 rated prospect in the Rivals150.
