Give Keno Davis and his staff at Providence credit, when one prospect moved on, they were ready to make a move. By fostering a relationship with Kyan Anderson, the Friars were able to make sure they landed a point guard that they wanted.

Anderson, has starred at Ft. Worth (Texas) North Crowley since breaking onto the scene as a freshman playing alongside Willie Warren.
Standing 5-foot-11, Anderson is slender and must get stronger for the next level. But, he has a very quick first step, scoring tools and a solid all-around game.
"Providence will get a dual threat out of Kyan Anderson," said Damon Sayles of Texashoops.com. "He can run and offense but he can also give you buckets quickly and often."
A three-star prospect, Anderson joins fellow three-star Markus Crider to make up the Friars early recruiting class for 2011.
