Forrest will wear Green

Just a little over a week ago, Forrest Robinson was preparing for his first official visit to Texas Tech. After that, he'd hoped to visit USC. Instead, he took a weekend trip to North Texas and by late Saturday, head coach Johnny Jones and his staff had landed the newest member of the Mean Green.
A three-star prospect from Eastland (Texas) High, Robinson initially committed to Utah a year ago before opening things up.

"Yes I committed," texted Robinson. "It's just a good fit all the way around."
He's long, slender, runs the floor and can face up and make jumpers. His frame should easily allow him to carry more weight and he's got the potential to be a high level player in the Sun Belt Conference.
Robinson joins another three-star, and Rivals150 member Jordan Williams, in-state guards Chris Jones and Trey Norris and juco point guard Brandan Walton to make up the Mean Green's early recruiting class.
