Forbes To Decide Next Week
Gary Forbes, a 6-6, 190-pound swingman from Benjamin Banneker Academy in Brooklyn, New York, told us tonight that he will announce his school of choice next Wednesday at a press conference at his high school.
Forbes has had in home visits with Virginia and Georgia Tech. "I am ready to announce it between Georgia Tech and Virginia," Forbes said. "It will be between 4 and 6 PM (eastern time) next week."

Forbes wouldn't say he was leaning to one school or another. Remember, Forbes was supposed to visit Virginia this weekend but instead opted to play in a tournament in Philadelphia.
Forbes had previously told us that he was going to visit Georgia Tech on September 21st. Connecticut, NC State, Cincinnati and Mississippi State were previously considered. State dropped out after filling that position with a foreign player, Engin Atsur.
