Forbes Discusses Tech Visit

Gary Forbes, the outstanding 6-6 swingman from Benjamin Banneker H.S. in Brooklyn, N.Y., told Rivalshoops.com today that he had a very good visit to Georgia Tech this past weekend. "I have been in Georgia before but I have never seen the campus," Forbes said. "What stood out to me was the city of Atlanta. It's a lot like New York."
Forbes said he enjoyed sitting down with Georgia Tech coach Paul Hewitt and his staff. He also felt comfortable with the Georgia Tech players. "The city of Atlanta is just like home," Forbes said. "It looks like New York. I liked that."

So what's next for Forbes? "I am going to visit Virginia next Friday," Forbes said. "Then I am going to make up mind. I will probably have a press conference the following Wednesday after my Virginia visit."
Forbes previously had some interest in UConn, Cincinnati and Mississippi State.
RivalsHoops.com's number 52 player in the class of 2003 averaged 25 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, three blocks and one steal per game last season at Banneker.
