Forbes Changes Up On Trips

Gary Forbes, a 6-6, 190-pound swingman from Benjamin Banneker Academy in Brooklyn, New York, has decided to reschedule his official visit to Virginia. Originally, Forbes was supposed to visit the beautiful Charlottesville campus this upcoming weekend.

Instead, Forbes may now play in the Five Star basketball tournament to be held this weekend at Drexel. If Forbes decides not to play this weekend, then he may keep his scheduled visit. But as of this story, he is likely to go play hoops instead of taking a trip to UVA. Forbes may take his trip to Virginia the weekend of September 27th.

Forbes told us that he is going to visit Georgia Tech on September 21st. Could this mean the end of Forbes' recruiting process after his Tech visit? Right now, Forbes has said he is still interested in visiting other schools. Remember, NC State recently landed Engin Astur, a talented wing player from Turkey and the Wolfpack were one of his top schools before the commitment.

Forbes hasn't rule out Connecticut either. Forbes, who also plays with the Riverside Church program during the summer, told us he was also interested in Cincinnati and Mississippi State.
