Follmer Commits To Washington

Todd Follmer, a 6-foot-11, 220-pound center from Santa Margarita High School in Santa Margarita, California has given a commitment to the University of Washington. The big man recently visited the campus and was more than impressed with what he saw.
“I took an official visit to Washington this week (May 15-17) and really enjoyed everything about the visit,” Follmer said. “I’ve committed to Coach Romar and the Washington Huskies. I really like the school and the coaching staff.”

RivalsHoops.com was on hand when Follmer participated in the Jayhawk Invitational at the beginning of May. He was very active around the basket and has the ability to be a force on the defensive end of the court.
Follmer might not block every shot that comes his way, but he will alter a lot. His game will only improve, especially playing in a league like the Pac-10.
“Coach Romar told me that we’re going to push the ball up the court some and we’ll also run some half court sets. I will have the opportunity to get more touches in a half court set.”
Follmer will participate in the Nike Camp and Adidas Big Time Camp later on in the summer.
He plans to sign his National Letter of Intent during the early signing period.
