Fofana, a a massive 6-9, 260 pound center from Holy Name H.S. in Worcester, Mass., continues to take the diplomatic route in discussing his recruiting process. "I don't want to eliminate any schools because I am not clear on what my final five will be," Fofana said. "So I will do that next month."
For now, Fofana is trying to improve his game against some tough competition at the ABCD camp. Fofana went up against Darryl Watkins yesterday and it appeared both players asserted themselves.
Fofana is a player in the middle stages of rounding out his game. He is raw in some respects. However, he is physically capable of handling himself against any big man in the class of 2003.
While he's not fast or a great athlete, Fofana is a massive physical specimen with excellent rebounding instincts. He also has the ability to square up and knock down the occasional high arching jumper from short to midrange distances.
Fofana mentioned additional interest in UMass, Rhode Island, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Maryland, Wake Forest, Boston College, UConn, Virginia, Providence, North Carolina, Purdue, Providence, Notre Dame, Stanford, and Duke.
