Hassan Fofana, a 6-9, 260-pound center from Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia, has finally decided to knock his list down. It's still a long list but no longer are there 20 plus teams on his list.
Fofana, according to head coach Mike Preston, has narrowed the field to 12 schools -- Ohio State, Maryland, Purdue, Virginia, Wisconsin, Cornell, Stanford, Boston College, Memphis, Texas Tech, Michigan, and St. John's.
As of this story, there have been no official visits set up. However, many of these schools are expected to take in school visits. Memphis was in on September 9th, according to Preston.
Fofana, who hails from West Africa, played this summer for the the Middlesex Magic. Fofana is an active and aggressive 260 pounder. He returned to Africa on July 27 and returned on September 5th.
Fofana previously said he had scholarship offers from UMass, Rhode Island, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Clemson, Florida State, Maryland, Virginia, Wake Forest, Boston College, UConn and Notre Dame.
