A LOOK AT RASHAD ANDERSON
CLASS: 2002
Advertisement
HEIGHT: 6-5
WEIGHT: 205
HIGH SCHOOL: Kathleen H.S. (Lakeland, FLA)
POSITION: SHOOTING GUARD/SMALL FORWARD
RECENT PLAY: Although his Tallahassee Wildcats team went just 1-2 in pool play, Anderson pumped in over 20 points per contest in three games.
EVALUATION: Anderson showed us he has a very balanced offensive game. Anderson moves well without the ball. He can get to the basket with his quick first step.
He also impressed us with his smooth jumpshooting ability off the dribble and quick slashing moves to the basket. Anderson is relentless too.
Anderson will grab a loose ball for you, start a fastbreak with his dribble, and explode to the basket in transition. Anderson will likely make an immediate impact offensively for any college recruiting him. Anderson is likely to be highly ranked by the time the summer concludes. He is definitely one of the top offensive talents in the Class of 2002.
RECRUITING: UMass, Florida State, Kansas, Boston College, UConn, Miami, Seton Hall, Syracuse, South Florida, Florida and Kentucky are all involved.
In fact, Anderson planned to swing by Florida for an unofficial look at the school this week.
STATS AS JUNIOR: 24 PTS, 7 RBS, 3 ASSISTS, 2 STEALS, ONE BLK
SCHEDULE THIS SUMMER: Nike All-American Camp in Indianapolis, Great American Shootout in Denton, Tex., the AAU Super Showcase and the AAU Nationals with the Tallahassee Wildcats.
