ABCD Stats: 10.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, no blocks, 41.3 percent from the floor

Performance: Lakeith Blanks saved his best game for last. Against the Wizards, Blanks dropped in 20 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was very active and confident in taking the ball to the basket. At times, he diversified his game by stepping back and shooting the perimeter shot.

Blanks seemed to be more effective when cutting to the basket though his three point shooting was decent at almost 40 percent. Blanks played with point guard Gerry McNamara and when both were on the court, Lakeith smartly made his way to the basket for feeds. Blanks’ consistency needs to be monitored over the next year. The talent is there.

What to look for in the future: Consistency. Blanks also needs to be a little bit more active on the defensive end. Someone of his size should be able to knock some balls away defensively. Blanks appears to have good elevation and plays near the rim.
