Performance: Trevor Ariza, who participated in the underclassmen ABCD All Star game last night, showed strength and agility. He proved he is a player to watch for the next year. Trevor is likely to be on many top 100 lists as the year goes by.

During his ABCD games with the Hornets, he showed the ability to get to the basket with the dribble and score. Ariza scores most of his points eight feet and in. This is just fine with me. Trevor is a big man who loves to mix it up in the paint and it’s refreshing to see a player who stays with his strength.

What to look for in the future: If Trevor Ariza improves the length of his perimeter game, he is likely to be considered one of the best forward prospects in the class of 2003.
