Florida guard picks Georgia Tech
Saturday afternoon, Solomon Poole decided to end his time at NBPA Top 100 Camp with a bang.

It wasn't on the floor, though, instead it came after Poole's last camp game when the 6-foot-1 point guard from Jacksonville committed to Georgia Tech.
"Basically I was just looking at the recruiting process and who all was offering," Poole told Rivals.com. "I looked at the conference Tech is in and saw how strong it was and I wanted to be challegneged my freshman year so I committed."
Not only did Poole like the idea of playing in the ACC, he liked what he was hearing from head coach Brian Gregory.
"Coach Gregory was really honest with me," said Poole. "He told me what I needed to hear and what I needed to get better at instead of just telling me what he needed to get me there."
Of course, Georgia Tech also had an ace in the hole in their recruitment of the No. 14 player in the 2013 Rivals150. Poole's older brother Stacey is there and it gave them a chance to realize a childhood dream.
"That's very exciting to play with my brother," said Poole. "That's been our dream since we were young. It will give us more opportunity to bond and see what college life is like with somebody you grew up with. We are trying to win that ACC title."
