Florida big man will head out West

Late in the summer, Florida big man Schuyler Rimmer thought his recruitment was over with when he picked the home state Gators.
As it turned out, the Gators and the 6-foot-9 three-star center from Orlando (Fla.) Boone weren't meant to be.

So, Rimmer opened things up and after visits to Stanford, Virginia, Vanderbilt and USC he's decided to head to the Pac-12 and play for Johnny Dawkins and the Cardinal.
The commitment was confirmed by Rimmer's summer coach Reggie Tucker of the Q6 All-Stars. Tucker couldn't be more impressed with Rimmer's resolve and work ethic.
"I've been blessed to coach such a young man," Tucker told Rivals.com. "He's been great to be around and it's been great to watch him grow up.
"Schuyler has the best work ethic I've ever been around and just loves to play the game."
A big and strong kid who doesn't mind playing physically, Rimmer is a solid interior player who has a tough mindset. He gets contested rebounds, runs the floor pretty well and also shows good scoring touch with either hand.
Rimmer joins a recruiting class that includes Las Vegas twins Marcus Allen and Malcolm Allen. An athletic off guard, Marcus currently ranks No. 135 in the nation while Malcolm is a clever combo guard who like Rimmer sits just outside of the current Rivals150 for the class of 2013.
